Nestled amidst the breathtaking snowy Alps, Gasthof Sonnenheim offers an ideal getaway that beautifully complements my love for nature and outdoor activities. The serene location not only provided stunning mountain views but also a charming atmosphere perfect for recharging after my marine biology expeditions. With a delightful selection of local cuisine at the onsite restaurant, I relished the mouth-watering meals, especially paired with their exceptional Franciskaner Weizen-a beer that truly stood out during my travels. Although we encountered a hiccup with the self-check-in process, the staff quickly addressed our concerns, reflecting their commitment to providing a welcoming experience. The cozy room featured a flat-screen TV and excellent heating, which was perfect for warming up after a day exploring the surrounding snow-covered village-a lovely bonus for any traveler who enjoys scenic walks. It's also worth noting the family-friendly amenities, including a playground for those traveling with little ones. Gasthof Sonnenheim strikes a wonderful balance of comfort and convenience, making it an ideal stopover as we journeyed through Austria on our way to Croatia. A delightful experience, it's a hidden gem worthy of a future visit.
